Born and raised on his family’s farm in Minnesota, Jake graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2003 with a BS in construction—his intent to start his own company. But after working as a project engineer for a design-build healthcare firm in Oregon, Jake became more curious about the opportunities and potential in integrated and design-build projects. Since joining Bouten, he’s led several projects in the region in the areas of life sciences, higher education, and healthcare, and is known for his passion for client satisfaction. A 2016 graduate of Leadership Spokane, Jake serves on the board of directors of both the MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation and YMCA Inland Northwest.
