Biography
Tim Thomas
President
Nov 1998
Born and raised in Spokane, Tim earned a BA in business and economics from Washington State University. After working his way up through the project management ranks for a design-build mechanical contractor in Seattle, he moved back to Spokane in 1996, taking a job with a mechanical trade partner before joining Bouten Construction Company two years later. In addition to leading numerous projects throughout Washington, Idaho, and Montana, Tim has served on the boards of Providence Inland Northwest Foundation, the Greater Inland Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Spokane Regional Plan Center. He’s currently a member of the Catholic Cemeteries of Spokane board of directors, and he represents general contractors on the Project Review Committee of the Washington State Capital Projects Advisory Review Board. Tim was named the fourth president—and the first non-Bouten—of the company in 2022, and is committed to upholding the hard-earned legacy of the three generations that preceded him.
