To meet an aggressive schedule for Kootenai’s largest construction project in over 30 years, Bouten led the effort to use innovative Lean practices during the design and construction process. As a result, the three-story expansion—which includes a family birth center, a neonatal intensive care unit, and an inpatient orthopedic unit—was delivered three months early.
