The $47 million Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL) is on the front lines of our region’s and nation’s defense against both emerging and foreign disease and food-borne illness. The facility includes laboratories, a necropsy suite, classrooms, offices, and collaboration space. The design-build team worked with WSU Facility Services and WADDL to deliver this highly complex building below budget and on time – despite a global pandemic during construction.
