Bouten-ALSC designed and constructed this multipurpose arena for Blue Mountain Community College and the Pendleton Roundup. The project was split into multiple GMPs to ensure materials were procured in time to meet the Oregon state funding cycle and maximize the budget. In addition to creating a list of betterments with the GMP—and incorporating more than $750,000 in added scope after establishing the GMP—we helped BMCC achieve a variance for the 1.5 percent state requirement for green energy technology.
