This five-story surgery center expansion includes five ORs, two procedure rooms, fifteen patient rooms, new PACU, sterilization unit, 20,000 SF kitchen, shipping/receiving, and helipad. The incremental GMP contract enabled early demolition and site work while design progressed. Built on a natural slide plane, the expansion required a massive retaining wall three hundred feet long, three feet thick, and thirty feet high.
