To meet an aggressive schedule for Kootenai Health’s largest construction project in more than thirty years, Bouten led the effort to use innovative Lean practices during the design and construction processes. As a result, the three-story expansion—which includes a family birth center, a neonatal intensive care unit, and an inpatient orthopedic unit—was delivered three months early.
