Due to an urgent need to develop this freestanding emergency department, Kadlec Regional Medical Center retained Bouten to deliver the project under a design-build contract. The teams immediately agreed to incorporate innovative Lean practices into both the design and construction phases, enabling the project to be completed two months ahead of schedule.
