Facing a tight deadline to break ground after the hospital was forced to terminate its original GC/CM, Bouten was retained to fill the role with a commitment to meet the scheduled construction start date. Moving rapidly, we secured trade partner bids, agreed on a contract, and gained board approval to proceed with construction as scheduled. Following the master campus plan, we prepared the site for long-term growth by excavating material from the hospital building pad and strategically placing it in lower areas of the site, making the future medical office building construction-ready to save time and cost on future development phases. And, despite a two-month weather delay immediately after breaking ground, the owner was able to move in ahead of the original completion date.
