Bouten was brought on board following completion of construction documents to provide a constructability review and logistics planning, develop bid packages, and establish a GMP that met the project budget. We received eighty-seven bids—an average of four per trade package—and established $2.2 million in value engineering options, $600,000 of which were accepted without affecting the project schedule. The facility, which was constructed adjacent to an existing building without affecting its day-to-day operations, was completed four months early.
